DESCRIPTION:This year, the Conductors' Academy will once again conclude with a concert in which the young conductors will conduct the works they have worked on in the masterclasses on the previous days under the direction of Music Director Paavo Järvi. Orchestral works by Beethoven, Shostakovich and Johann Strauss Sohn are on the programme, with Sabine Poyé Morel and Sarah Verrue as soloists in Mozart's Concerto for Flute, Harp and Orchestra. An audience prize will be awarded at the end - and Paavo Järvi will decide who receives the scholarship and an invitation to his Pärnu Music Festival.
