SUMMARY:Jugend Sinfonieorchester Zürich
DESCRIPTION:Aprés-Concert: Following the event, a concert with musicians from the Zurich Youth Symphony Orchestra will take place in the foyer. Programme to be announced.

They are between 14 and 24 years old, fit on their instruments - and highly motivated to play in an orchestra. Young people have had the opportunity to do this since 1987 in the Zurich Youth Symphony Orchestra, which is closely linked to the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich as a Junior Music Partner. It is conducted by our principal trombonist David Bruchez-Lalli. Mahler's "Totenfeier" is followed by a lively piccolo concerto, which fascinates with light, playful melodies and is interpreted by the dedicatee Haika Lübcke - also a musician in the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. The programme concludes with the dance-like, lively world of Mexican composer Jose Pablo Moncayo. The concert offers an exciting mixture of emotions and rhythm.\n\nGiovanni Gabrieli Sonata pian e forte aus «Sacrae symphoniae» (Orchestrierung David Bruchez-Lalli)\n\nGustav Mahler «Totenfeier», Sinfonische Dichtung für grosses Orchester\n\nGabriel Mălăncioiu «Piccolored Life» Konzert für Piccolo und Orchester – Uraufführung\n\nJosé Pablo Moncayo «Huapango»\n\n Après-Concert Im Anschluss an die Veranstaltung findet im Foyer ein Konzert mit Musiker*innen des Jugend Sinfonieorchesters Zurich statt.\n\n Programm nach Ansage.
