The little witch Fräxli is 150 years young and eager to finally receive her long-awaited witch's diploma. But first she has to pass a whole series of difficult tests with a bit of luck, pranks and cheating. Will Fräxli manage to get her diploma with the courageous help of the children in the audience? Will she become a real Fräxe? Either way: no one should miss the acrobatic broom ride.

Young prizewinners of the Swiss Youth Music Competition (SJMW) provide the musical framework for the adventures of Fräxli the little witch. The family concert with works by A. Vivaldi, W.A. Mozart, G. Rossini, A. Dvořák, C. Saint-Saëns, E.W. Korngold, Black Eyed Peas and many others takes place as part of the all-day 50th anniversary of the SJMW.
