DESCRIPTION:Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich is once again taking part in Sonic Matter, the festival of experimental music, this season. The programme opens with Dieter Ammann’s ‘unbalanced instability’ – a work that demands a great deal of balance and stability from the performers in order for its character to come to the fore. The solo part is performed by Carolin Widmann, who has long been deeply engaged with contemporary works.
