Sticker booklet "Sit in the orchestra!"

Music can touch, enchant and inspire. People from all cultures have been making music since time immemorial. They sing and play instruments, alone or in groups.

But what exactly is a "symphony orchestra"? What does "orchestra" mean, what is a symphony? And why are the big orchestras called symphony orchestras?

The sticker booklet "Sit in the orchestra!" explains the history of the symphony orchestra to children aged 6 to 9, what the musicians do in the orchestra and what instruments there are.

Children can put together their own orchestra using the sticker sheet in the centre.

The sticker booklet is available for CHF 15.00 from the Tonhalle Zurich ticket office and from Musik Hug.
