Violinsonate Nr. 14 e-Moll KV 304
Antonín Dvořák Romantische Stücke op. 75 für Violine und Klavier
César Franck Violinsonate A-Dur
Line-up change: Yekwon Sunwoo plays with Andrea Cicalese instead of pianist Eric Lu.
Barely an adult and already an integral part of the concert world: the Neapolitan Andrea Cicalese, who performs with renowned orchestras and on historic stages, has been impressing audiences for years not only with his virtuosity, but also with his technical finesse and passion. In Zurich, he will be performing together with pianist Yekwon Sunwoo, the first South Korean to win the prestigious Cliburn Competition and who has performed with renowned orchestras. The two will now play works by Mozart, Dvořák and Franck - in which their soloistic qualities are just as much in demand as their chamber music skills.
Andrea Cicalese plays a Guarneri ‘Del Gesú’ (Cremona, 1731), the loan of which was made possible thanks to the cultural and philanthropic initiative ‘Adopt a Musician’, promoted and sponsored by MusicMasterpieces SA - Lugano (CH).
