You will soon be able to enjoy some of our concerts led by Music Director Paavo Järvi on the new streaming platform Here you will find not only us, but also many other exceptional orchestras from all over the world. brings together orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. All the great conductors and soloists of our time can be found on in current and historic concert recordings.

Symphony Night Premieres

Mozart and R. Strauss

On Saturday, 9 December 9 2023, our fourth concert will be streamed live on The program included Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major and Richard Strauss' "Eine Alpensinfonie", two audience favourites conducted by our Music Director. The guest was pianist and Mozart specialist Fazıl Say, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming several times as a focus artist in the 2022/23 season. The program and the protagonists on stage delighted our audience: all three concerts at the end of March 2023 were sold out. Link

Brahms and Berlioz

On Saturday, 2 September 2023, our guest performance at the Musikverein Vienna was streamed for the third time. In the Golden Hall, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich conducted by Music Director Paavo Järvi performed Johannes Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor op. 25 in the orchestration by Arnold Schoenberg. Violist Antoine Tamestit was the soloist in Hector Berlioz' "Harold en Italie". Link

Tüür and Mendelssohn

On Saturday, 15 April 2023 our second concert was streamed live on The programme included Erkki-Sven Tüür's "Lux Stellarum", a concerto for flute and orchestra given its Swiss premiere by our focus artist Emmanuel Pahud, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's "Lobgesang". Music Director Paavo Järvi conducted the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. Link

Bruckner and Pärt

On Saturday, 18 February 2023, we performed Bruckner's Sixth Symphony and Arvo Pärt's "Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten" under the direction of Paavo Järvi for the first time on This concert, our first Symphony Night premiere, is available for viewing.
