Julia Kurzydlak wins the Conductors' Academy 2023/24
Julia Kurzydlak is the winner of the Conductors' Academy 2023/24. The Academy member from Poland impressed both the audience and Paavo Järvi at the final concert.
Julia Kurzydlak demonstrated the skills she has learnt at the final concert and is delighted to have won the Paavo Järvi Scholarship. She will be able to continue working with Maestro Järvi in the "Järvi Academy" at the Pärnu Music Festival in summer 2024.
The 23 year old conductor has won both the Paavo Järvi Scholarship and the international audience vote. She can therefore also take home the audience prize of CHF 1,000, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
